27 Weeks

We are growing!  I am feeling as big as a house, but Davion is making sure I know how crazy that sounds.  He said "well, you're in a house, and you can fit, so you're not as big as a house."  Little kids are so logical.

*Starting physical therapy for my tailbone pain - more on that later.
*I feel like it takes me forever to do such simple things.  Walking up/down the stairs, getting in/out of the car, taking the dog out, getting something off the's weird to feel like I don't have any control of my body anymore.
*As I said before, I feel like I am the size of a house.  Everyone keeps telling me that I'm not, but that doesn't mean I don't feel like it. I'm not used to this!
*I feel like I keep feeling him move more and more.  The other day he was so crazy you could see my belly move.  It is so fun!
*I still suck at sleeping.
*My feet are hurting now too.  Just the bottoms of them.  I am thinking that it is just because for the last 4 weekends I've worn heels to these weddings so hopefully now that I don't have to wear heels anymore it won't be so bad.
*I am doing so many projects for his room!  I love it though.
*Officially in my third trimester!  I seriously cannot believe it.

We finished off our wedding extravaganza.  Wedding number 3 was Dan's friend from work (an old job) and was downtown.  It was a lot of fun, but the chairs at dinner were wood and I was in a lot of pain by the end of the night because of my tailbone.  Dan finally got me to call the doctor and he said that since I've never had problems with it before he wants me to do physical therapy.  My first thought?  I don't have time for physical therapy.  I only get to leave work by 3:30 2 days a week so I hate the idea of going to physical therapy after and then not getting home until 5:30.  Honestly, I think I'd rather suffer through, but I am going to try it out for a couple weeks and see if it even helps.  I've only gone once.

Anyway, here's a picture from wedding #3 - Brett and Jessica.

Jessica was beautiful!  Her dad probably had the best father of the bride speech I've ever heard.  It was funny and sweet.  :)

The reception was at Fultons on the River in the city, so we got a picture in front of the Chicago River - smelled soooo horrible.

Wedding number 4 was in Michigan - the car ride was rough on my back/tailbone but it wasn't as bad as I thought.  We only stopped a few times so I think keeping the getting in and out to a minimum helped.  This wedding was my cousin Cassandra and Matt.   Of course, another beautiful bride :)
Again, my bra is showing, and again, I don't care :)  This wedding was fun - kind of weird to think it is the last pregnant one.  We have one the weekend before I'm due in Chicago but we'll see if I make it!  My mom and I took a picture with the beautiful bride, too.
We also had a small shower with Dan's family which was very nice - we got our high chair!  We also got Elf on the Shelf from Dan's sisters - so excited for Little Man to start it!

We still haven't fallen in love with a name yet.  We have a top 5 I think but in no particular order. Everyone has been asking us and we really don't know!  Plus we aren't telling anyone because everyone has an opinion.  I used to think that was silly, but I totally get it now.

I found out that someone has a blog called Two of a Kind Working on a Full House - so I'm trying to think of a new name.  Because you know I have big dreams of this blog becoming super popular and all :)

What's going on soon....
Ultrasound on Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am super excited to see him again.  And find out if my placenta has moved to see if we will need to do a C-Section or not.  I am pretty indifferent, as I just want him to be safe and healthy.
3 more showers - 2 small and one big.  I am super excited for the big one!  It is going to be very overwhelming but it will be so nice to see everyone.
Our child birth class is in July!
We started painting Little Man's room a light blue to match his crib bedding.  Hopefully we can get that done this weekend or next now that we're actually in town and not out for weddings.
Hopefully more weekly pictures and blog posts.
